CDR-350

The Commander 350 is a heavy duty 12-volt DC disconnect switch that is rated for 200-amp continuous duty and 300-amp peak electrical loads.

Used in ambulances and other emergency vehicles, the Commander 350 is ideal for many special vehicle 12 VDC applications with high current loads. Its microprocessor-based echnology enables efficient and effective switching in a compact, easy to install device.

Designed for longer life, the Commander 350 features reduced internal contact arcing – a primary cause of wear and malfunction inelectromechanical solenoid devices.

Diagnostic LEDs confirm the unit’s operating status. A green colored LED indicates the unit is turned on and functioning. When the red

LED is flashing, it means that the Commander 350 has entered its timed shutdown mode.

A built-in, selectable ignition interlock protects the vehicle’s alternator by preventing inadvertent disconnecting of loads

while the engine is running. This interlock also prevents the Commander 350 from being immediately turned off while the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Combining the ignition interlock, with the Commander 350’s selectable 5-minute timed shutdown mode also protects vehicle batteries against accidental excessive discharge from leaving lights or other systems on after the vehicle is parked.

The Commander 350 can also be configured for positive or negative enabling, offering flexibility in installation.

Either a 12-volt or a ground signal can activate the unit.
